"The emotion of guilt is one of the most corrosive vibrations that humans can permit themselves to feel. It is, in virtually every case, totally unnecessary to allow this emotion to establish itself for a number of reasons. The first reason relates to the fact that what is past can never be recaptured, can never be done a second time a different way. Thus, endless regret and guilt feelings serve no purpose whatever in terms of setting right what was done wrongly."
"Secondly, guilt, being a negative emotion, merely causes damage to Man's various bodies including the physical. Principally it is the liver which is affected most strongly by prolonged feelings of guilt."
"Lastly, the purpose of having the experience, from which the guilt stems, is to learn to recognize what was incorrectly accomplished and to improve the internal deficiency or lopsidedness which was responsible for the act which lies at the root of the guilt feeling. "Finally, remember that God does not judge or condemn any of His children who have strayed from His True Path. His love for all of the beings which have emanated from Him is so vast that no censure or condemnation could exist beside it. We have said before that love chases out all negative emotions. Since The Creator is the ultimate embodiment of Love, how could He judge, condemn, or censure? And if God does not condemn you for the act over which you feel guilty, why should you waste your own effort on such a negative vibration? Remember that, in the end, all things come right, that you are here to learn and improve not to waste energy on fruitless self-condemnation and that the key to achieving this progress is to assess what you have done in the clear light of day, decide whether it should have been done a better way, and then resolve to so improve yourself that when the opportunity comes again you will act correctly."

Throughout your many past lives, you have all been guilty of acts which -- could you only remember them -- might well saddle you with a load of regret and guilt so great that you would achieve little in your present life. That is one of the reasons why Man is not allowed to remember all the details of past experiences on The Earth Plane. Treat your own mistakes in this life as merely other such missteps, other strayings from The Path Which God's Wayshowers have marked out. Then get on with the task of purification and improvement. Do not waste the opportunity to learn from the mistakes you have made, for that is why you have made them."
