STARS

"Overarching the world stands the great vaulted dome of the heavens, hung with a billion Stars. These tiny points of light are, in reality, The Central Suns of as many separate Planetary Systems, for almost all such bodies have satellites, and virtually every one of those is a base of learning for some life-form, whether at The Material Vibration or Higher."

"We propose to speak of certain individual Stars That can be readily seen on a clear night and to explain the help and encouragement which These Bodies can offer."

"First, We must explain that each Star in the heavens has its own particular vibration, a kind of thought-form to which individuals can attune for insight, guidance, or upliftment. This is true for every Celestial Body, whether Star or Planet, and hence the total number of The Sources upon which one can meditate is vast beyond reckoning. Here, We shall concentrate on The Stellar Bodies Which are comparatively bright in the heavens, since These are The Ones Which The Human Race was intended to use for meditative purposes."

"Think of the heavenly vault as a wondrous fabric into which The Stars are sewn like diamonds. Then realize that the fabric is like a single Entity, with The Stellar Bodies representing Chakras of Energy, just as the human form has its own vortices or chakras."

"By directing one's concentration up away from The Earth Plane and toward one of These Stellar Chakras, one can 'tune in' to it's energy and derive the benefits that were intended in The Mind of The Great Designer."

"Imagine a warm summer evening about 10 PM. You are lying comfortably on your back, gazing up at a moonless expanse of Stars. Directly above, you see the prominent Star Vega in the Constellation Lyra, The Lyre. Here is a most wondrous source of musical inspiration, for the vibrations which stream out from This Focus are akin to the melodies and harmonies that earth music uses, though at a much higher vibrational rate. Any who wish to increase their attunement to music will benefit by simply opening up to the gifts which Vega can provide. Conductors, composers, and musicians will all find their art refined and uplifted after several sessions of meditation during which the eyes are fixed on The Star Vega and the heart is opened to its voice."

"In Spring and Summer, the bright Star Arcturus is visible in The Constellation Bootes. This Body provides vibrations which are extremely helpful to all who are engaged in the healing arts. Conventional practitioners can benefit here, as well as Naturopaths, Chiropractors, and Holistic Healers. The technique is always the same. Simply gaze at the actual Star. Calm the mind and open up to its vibrations."

"On winter evenings, low in the southern sky, The Dog Star Sirius is visible in Canis Major. Sirius is easily the brightest Stellar Body visible in the winter sky and is simple to locate. This Star is excellent for anyone actually suffering some physical affliction, for its curative vibrations are able to penetrate all of the various bodies (more subtle than the physical) of the human being. The same technique is to be used in all cases."

"During Winter and Spring, the great Star Regulus glows in The Constellation Leo. This Body has vibrations which are able to unblock deeply buried subconscious patterns, whether from this or a prior life. Any who suffer with psychological complexes, phobias, anxieties, and the like can use these emanations when seeking relief."

"In the Summer and Autumn skies, Altair is clearly visible in Aquila. This Star has a characteristic quality which can be used for encouragement when a difficult task looms or when the life-pattern seems beset with insurmountable obstacles. If the need is to 'take heart', to stiffen one's resolve and determination, Altair can be summoned for its invaluable aid."

"The only bright object in The Constellation Taurus is Aldebaran, visible in the skies of Fall and Winter. This Star is of particular blessing, since It soothes the mind that is grieving the loss of a loved one, whether through separation or death. Consolation is the key word for This Body, and much relief can be had from concentrating on its restful rays."

"Polaris is, of course, The 'Star for all seasons' in terms of The Northern Hemisphere. The Pole Star is visible at all times of the year from every location more than 5 degrees north of The Equator. Concentration on the emanations from This Stellar Body provides one with the energy and drive to accomplish the tasks which lie before one. This form of help is different from that offered by Altair, and discernment is required in order to decide which Star can offer the best assistance in a given situation."

"We have explained elsewhere the advantage of meditatively 'opening up' when the energy lines from The Sun are exactly perpendicular to the energy lines radiating from The Earth, i.e. at sunrise and sunset. Of course, The Sun Itself is a Star Which appears different from The Others only because It is so much closer."

"Now, if the sun's vibrations can be assimilated more readily when It is on the horizon, It is reasonable to suppose that emanations from the other Stars also may be more easily taken advantage of when They are setting or rising. This supposition is accurate, and We strongly recommend to those able to determine these rising and setting times that they time their meditations accordingly, and especially that they choose a meditation theme which is consonant with the basic character of The Star they have selected."
